"What a wonderful house with fantastic owners. Chris and Craig were amazingly helpful at all times from booking 12 months ago to the deposit returned this week. We used the house in mid October 2008 for a post wedding recovery (our daughter was married the weekend before we arrived at the house) and a pre 60th family week for me (birthday not until mid November). There were 7 adults (our 3 adult kids, two with partners and us) plus our three granddaughters aged 18months to 7 years. There was plenty of room for everyone to have fun together or a space for a quiet reflection. The pool was well used by all and so too the table tennis table. Instead of going out to a restaurant to celebrate my birthday the family worked together to give me the most fantastic degustation lunch all made so easy with the great kitchen and dining area. Everything is there right down to the gates for the stairs to keep little 18 month-olds from danger. Thank you so much again Chris and Craig - we are all trying to find another reason to get down sometime in 2009!"

"A La Plage - loved it, loved it, loved it!!! The best hide and seek house - the kids could not find me for almost an hour - lucky I hid with a book! The house allows privacy and tranquillity when you need time alone yet is the perfect place for time together with family and friends - eating, drinking, and laughing. The fireplace ensured the adults were warm and cosy inside while we watched the crazy kids splash in the pool outside (in July!!)"

"We were really impressed with the views, the quiet and the beautifully kept rooms. The welcoming chockies and wine were a treat, too! Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen was supplied (including barista machine). As we were with two other couples, the layout of the house enabled us to have privacy or to congregate in the main living area where the log fire was heaven on the cold July days. Would love to try out the beautiful pool in the warmer months. There was so much to do from this location: beach, walking, bike-riding or (we topped off our decadent stay in this fantastic house with) a limo winery tour!
The owners dealt with all correspondence leading up to our stay (and after) very promptly and efficiently. You thought of everything. Thanks guys!"

"A wonderful house to stay in !! We spent a week at A La Plage in January 08 with a large group (3 families - 6 adults and 5 kids). This house had everything we could need - enough beds, kitchen stuff, great TV room upstairs and the view from the balcony - WOW!! The kids loved the pool and we loved the location - easy walk down to the beach and the view over Prevelly spectacular!!"

"The whole 'A La Plage' experience was second to none. It is a magnificent home that offers peace, seclusion and privacy whilst still being conveniently located to all the attractions that Margaret River has to offer. Luxuriously appointed inside, magnificent views outside and friendly and efficient organisation from the owners ensure a smooth and relaxing stay. It was very difficult to leave and we will certainly be visiting again."

"My wife and two young children spent 5 idyllic days at A La Plage, Margaret River and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. So much so we only visited one winery in that time, spending the rest playing in the beautifully heated in ground pool attached to the balcony, always at the perfect temperature.
The silence and darkness (no street lights makes the stars look brighter) gave a real sense of being "away from it all" and the house had everything and more...even a spare gas bottle for when the BBQ stops after cooking one side of the steaks!
Overall an amazing place and a truly beautiful house I would recommend to anybody heading out West. I will definitely be back."

"Firstly, you have a very easy booking process with great communication and attention to detail throughout. The house is fantastic with great views and real holiday feel about it. Luxurious while remaining easy care and easy to relax in, which was most important for us. We spent time at the beach in the mornings, then back to the heated pool relaxing with our family and friends. Quality fittings and homewares ... We thoroughly enjoyed our time at A La Plage and highly recommend it."

"Fantastic accommodation that caters for the most discerning travellers. A La Plage is located in a prime location and provides for every need, whether it be a bike ride to the beach, a quick game of table tennis, movies on the large flat screen TV on the 3rd floor or just relaxing on one of the balconies and taking in the magnificent views. We had 3 families stay in the property for a week and found that we had ample room for all of us. The children were so well catered for that we almost forgot they were with us! Thanks for a great holiday. "

"Thank you for your excellent communication at every stage, from initial enquiry through to the (extremely prompt) return of the security bond. The house is a delight, we did not want to leave. It was luxurious, but still very relaxing. The heated pool was enjoyed by all the children, especially our 2 year old. This house really does have it all, and I have already recommended it to all our friends."

We had a lovely break, the pool is superb and with two little ones it is nice to have the heating in the pool, it makes all the difference. The house was exceptionally comfortable and well equipped, there was nothing more we could have wanted or needed to make our stay more fun and comfortable. The house catered for families with very small children as well as families with older children or groups of adults, all while maintaining a high level of comfort and luxury which is often hard to find in this area with small kids. Organising this holiday was also among the simplest ever, with prompt and friendly contact, couldn't have been made any easier".

"I had booked the location as surprise for my friends and it was great fun to watch them drop their jaws when they walked in the house. A La Plage was such treat for us, it was spacious and luxurious and it had great views, a private pool plus a kitchen stocked with everything I could think of and more. My favourite hangout turned out to be the kitchen island where we would perch on the bar stools and chat whilst preparing meals. My other favourite room was the cosy TV den on the top floor, it was a great place relax and wind down. My only gripe was that the house was so comfortable, we almost couldn't bear to leave it to visit the vineyards!"
